Since I began my professional journey I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to collaborate on some exciting solo and collaborative projects. I take pride in all that I do and in the long-term relationships I’ve fostered in the process. I firmly believe that hard work eventually pays off, and I know that each day brings me closer to reaching my goals. Worked with students one on one and with classes in small groups
Completed a semester-long training course to be certified

ENGLISH VIDEO SERIES
RESEARCH, APPLICATION, AND PRESENTATION
For the Honors Program at Southern Utah University, I conducted empirical research on accurate, engaging, and effective online pedagogy. I completed an experiential learning project where I created a series of ten short videos that presented information on English grammar and punctuation for the target age group of middle school age students. The videos are free and accessible to parents, educators, and students worldwide. I presented my project at the SUU Honors Symposium in November 2020.
TEACHING ENGLISH
IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
I worked as a tutor in a university Writing Center in Wuhan, China in May 2021.
I taught English to K-2 grade children in Medina de Pomar, Spain from June 2021 to September 2021.

I created a portfolio that showcases my work in professional development to be a more effective educator with instructional technology. This ePortfolio shows work for each of the ISTE standards for educators: learner, leader, citizen, collaborator, designer, facilitator, and analyst.

Leadership & Service
It is important for a member of the community to get involved. I try to get involved in leadership roles and to volunteer for community programs as much as I can.

Vice President of Community Life. Planned and executed many activities in person and virtual based for Honors Program students at SUU. Followed safe guidelines due to COVID-19.
